E-Statements

E-Statements are electronic versions of your paper statement. It provides you an alternate way to view and print your monthly or quarterly statements from your computer utilizing internet-based technology. This eliminates the need for paper statements. Once you enroll, you will no longer receive a paper statement. If you decide you do not want to continue E-Statements, you can de-enroll and receive paper statements again.

E-Statements are typically made available sooner than a paper statement since they don’t have to be mailed. You should receive an email by the 1st day of the month. The deadline for signing up is the 27th of each month. If you sign up after that date, your request will be processed for the next month end.

E-Statements are secure. Our email statement notification service sends you only a notice that your statement is ready to view and does not include your actual statement. No confidential financial information is transmitted by email. You can access your statement on-line anytime through a secure site. All login and password information is kept off internet accessible physical areas.

To protect your information, change your password as soon as you log-on to the service for the first time. Once your checking account has been entered into the system and validated by the credit union, you can begin paying bills through EasyPay.

Remember to update your email address. If you change Internet Service Providers, or change your primary email address, remember to login to E-Statements and update your information. The effect of any changes you make will be immediate.

PAYMENTS

In an effort to maintain efficiency with regard to your payments and relationships with your payees, payments are processed in a combination of three ways:

ELECTRONIC PAYMENT:

Payments are sent electronically to your payee one business day prior to the due date you scheduled in EasyPay, so the payee can post the payment to your account the next business day. The funds for that payment are deducted from your payment account via ACH on the due date you selected in EasyPay.

CORPORATE DRAFT CHECK:

Payment is sent by paper check drawn off of the settlement account we manage and mailed to the payee a few days before the due date you selected in EasyPay so the payment will arrive on time. The funds for that payment are deducted from your payment account via ACH on the due date you scheduled in EasyPay.

MEMBER DRAFT CHECK:

Payment is sent by paper check that is drawn from your payment account and is mailed to the payee a few days before the due date you scheduled in EasyPay so the payment will arrive on time. The funds for that payment are deducted from your payment account when the payee cashes the check, just as if you wrote the check yourself.

The amount of the payment and our relationship with the payee are key factors that determine the method by which the payment is sent to the payee. To determine how your payment was sent, you can examine your payment account transaction history. If the transaction history indicates that your account was debited electronically, your payment was either sent electronically or by check.  If the transaction history indicates that your account was debited by check, your payment was sent as a Member Draft Check.

There is no Overdraft Protection for EasyPay. If funds are not sufficient to cover your scheduled payment or transfers, the transactions will fail. You may transfer funds from your savings account on your list of accounts to cover any shortages before the payment transaction happens.
