To protect your information, change your password as soon as you
log-on to the service. Once your checking account has been entered into the system and
validated by the credit union, you can start paying bills through
PayIT.
All Payments to your merchants are processed at 2:00 p.m. EST
Monday through Friday. For same day processing, the payment would
need to be scheduled before that time. Any payment scheduled on
Saturday or Sunday will be processed the next business day.

Merchants are paid in one of two ways:
ELECTRONIC – Funds are sent via the RPS electronic
network. You will know if a particular merchant is paid
electronically if you are requested to make a payment 2 business
days before the due date of that bill when you schedule the
payment.
PAPER DRAFT – Funds are sent via a physical check
through the US Mail on the day the merchant is scheduled to be paid.
You will know if a particular merchant is paid by check if you are
requested to make a payment 5 business days before the due
date of the bill when you schedule the payment.
When scheduling payments, please count business
days as payment processing days.
With PayIT, all funds are collected from your account on the day
the payment is scheduled to be made, with one exception. If the
vendor’s system or bank’s system is down when the payment
processing is set to fun, funds are collected from your account via
the Federal Reserve system and will post to your account 2 to 5
business days later. This will show on your transaction history as a
"Pre-Autho EFT" and on your credit union statement as
"EFT RPS". The payment to your merchant is sent on the day
originally scheduled.
PayIT has a system limitation of $10,000 per single payment to a
merchant per user per day. Some merchants may have set a lower
limit. The PayIT system will tell you if the system or merchant
limit has been exceeded.
If
you set up a recurring automatic payment and the next pay date
is the 1st or 2nd day of the month and that
date falls on a weekend, PayIT will set the pay date to the prior
Friday. This could result in two payments showing paid in the same
month.
There is no Overdraft Protection for PayIT or BankIT. If
funds are not sufficient to cover your scheduled payments or
transfers, the transactions will fail. You may transfer funds from
your savings account on your list of accounts to cover any shortages
before the payment transaction happens.
